Following on from our post and email to pre-booked guests last night, Steven is here with a reminder regarding today’s (Saturday) event. We are aware that the email did not make its way into everyone’s inbox and apologise for the inconvenience - the team have resent emails this morning, along with a text.

We are still scheduled to go ahead as planned tomorrow, and will share more updates shortly.

Your ticket options:
- You may transfer your ticket to Sunday’s event (you don’t need to do anything - it will remain valid at the door on Sunday).
- ⁠Alternatively, you may request a refund by emailing tickets@cnwfoodanddrinkfestival.com. These will be processed from Tuesday onward.

𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆’𝘀 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁

We regret to inform you that, following careful consideration, we have made the extremely difficult decision to cancel tomorrow’s food and drink festival (Saturday) due to forecasted dangerously high winds.

This decision has been taken in close consultation with our Health and Safety team, whose guidance indicates that the expected weather conditions would make it unsafe for visitors, traders, and staff to be on site. With wind speeds forecast to reach up to 50mph, the safety of everyone involved is our highest priority.

We understand this will be disappointing news, but we believe this is the most responsible course of action in the circumstances.

We are pleased to confirm that we intend to reopen for the festival on Sunday, when weather conditions are expected to be more favourable.

Your ticket options:

• You may transfer your ticket to Sunday’s event.
• Alternatively, you may request a refund.

If you would like to join us on Sunday you do not need to do anything, your Saturday ticket will remain valid.

Refund requests will be processed from Tuesday onwards, and further information on how to do this will be shared shortly.

Our cooking class timetable is here! From Peruvian Chicken, to Wild Garlic Risotto, to Breakfast Granola and many more, we’ve got classes for both adults and children to hone their culinary skills. Who knows - maybe next year, you’ll be on our chef demo line-up!

Meet our Home Economist! Helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes of our live chef demos is the fantastic @chef_emmashawcross.

Based in Cheshire, Emma brings over 20 years of experience in the food industry, from working in prestigious kitchens like The Chester Grosvenor, to supporting top chefs as a food stylist and home economist at major food festivals across the UK and beyond.

Emma has also dedicated much of her career to food education, teaching children to cook with the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts, mentoring young chefs, and working as a catering lecturer and NVQ assessor across the North West.

You’ll see Emma supporting our chefs throughout the festival, making sure every demo runs perfectly and every dish comes together on stage.
